The Therapeutic Massage for Home Workshop will teach you to give your family and friends a nurturing massage in a hands on workshop. Learn the techniques of basic Swedish and Remedial massage so you can relax tired and sore muscles relieving stress and tension, giving relief from headaches and neck and back aches.

You will be taught the skills that apply for both a simple (but not basic) relaxation massage and also a remedial massage, you will be able to apply these skills to use on your family and friends.

The Therapeutic Massage for Home Workshop is suitable for friends to learn together as well as couples. Nurturing one another is a great way to build caring relationships. You only work on each other during the course. The training alternates between each person as massage techniques are demonstrated, then practiced on one another. Both people learn the massage techniques.

You will also learn the benefit of using essential oil blends to promote relaxation and togetherness, adding another dimension to your massage techniques.

What is included in the Therapeutic Massage for Home Workshop?
This workshop provides a two day workshop for anyone who wishes to learn basic massage skills, providing relaxation, headache/pain relief and a special closeness to their family and friends.

Styles of Massage

The relaxing health benefits of massage

Complications of Massage

Positioning and draping techniques

Application of strokes and techniques used in massage

How to use Aromatherapy oils to enhance your massage even further

How to perform a full body Swedish massage on each other

Treatments for specific conditions such as Headaches, Back Pain, Neck Pain, etc.

Who will be running the Workshops?
Workshops will be conducted by Steve Brown, the owner of Amaroo Essential Therapies, with over 12 years experience in Remedial Massage.

What will be provided?
All towels, oils, tables and morning and afternoon tea

How long does the workshop go for?
2 days with a maximum of 5 couples (minimum 2 couples) - 9:00am to 4:30pm each day,
Can also be held on one day with personal tuition with one couple.

What is the investment for the Massage for Couples workshop?
$350.00 per couple, group workshop
$500.00 per couple, personalised training for one day.
